Bolivian President Evo Morales made the following comment at a recent climate change conference: “”The chicken we eat is loaded with female hormones. So, when men eat it, they tend to deviate from their manhood.” This raises a few points:

1. Why was he speaking about a link between homosexuality and chickens at a climate change conference?

2. Is he a scientist, and if so, whoa?

Naturally his remarks caused some controversy, and while the journalist in me tells me I should delve a bit into that I am far too entertained by the man’s claims to turn away: “Baldness, which seems normal, is a disease in Europe. Almost everyone is bald and it’s related to the food they eat. Among the indigenous people there are no bald men, because we eat different things.”
